What's it all about?
First Contact is the story of a young man named Leon who suspects he’s losing his mind, until he discovers he’s not quite alone.
Every hundred years or so, a group of people get possessed by unknown beings that wish to observe humanity in its current state. Their objective is to collect information on humanity’s behaviour, thoughts, and feelings. Their existence remains largely unknown to people, as do their intentions.
This is the story of the worst week of Leon’s life.

He applied to college in order to move out of his parents house but never seemed too interested in his study and frequently opted to skip his classes.
He used to enjoy dressing himself in crazy patterns and colors and seemed to have a general passion for fashion.
When he gets his life back on track later on you can see this returning.
He lives with his roommate Gregory and the two haven’t quite figured out adulting.

Labello is the co-owner of Leon’s favorite club.
She started the club with her older cousin when she inherited the old city building from her grandparent.
Her cousin takes care of the official documents and occasionally tends the bar. Labello lives in a small studio on the top floor of the building.
Labello isn’t her real name, but people don’t seem to question it as it’s in line with her quirky personality. Labello didn’t go to college but she was a straight A student in high school.

Yuka is a Russian immigrant, he fled from Russia when his younger sister came out as gay. He feared for her safety after one of her friends got arrested for being out. He fled with her as soon as he was old enough to be her legal guardian.
His sister now lives on a college campus, but she still frequently comes home on the weekends.
Yuka is a gentle giant, he looks scary but is a very caring person; he tends to look after Leon (and Labello). Although he is fluent in English, his Russian accent tends to shine through.
